I love to practice Kundalini Yoga. It is a deeply meditative practice that gets me centered, shuts my mind off and gets me in the moment. It also uplifts the energy in and surrounding my body. My favorite cuisine is Mexican. I have perfected what *I* think is the most Perfect Guacamole recipe. I thought it was the best gift to give to you on the First Day of the Year. I hope you enjoy it!
If you think Avocados are bad for you, then you need to look at the latest research. All that talk from the 1980’s that Avocados are bad for you is outdated and incorrect. Avocados do contain fat but they contain the good kind of fat that your body needs. Yes, your body does need some fat to function properly. Avocados contain Monounsaturated & Polyunsaturated Fats.
I have had a love affair with the Avocado and Guacamole for decades! I have learned the hard way how to select, ripen and use an Avocado. I walked around blindly until my Aunt Dora Lou’s Sister’s Husband told me the secret to knowing when an Avocado is perfectly ripe. Or was it my Aunt’s Brother? Or maybe her best friend’s Husband? Hehe!
Assignment: Following the guidelines below, buy 3 large or 4 small Avocados to ripen one week from today. On that Thursday, my new post will be my Perfect Guacamole. Additional ingredients will also need to be bought so check out the recipe ahead of time. (Fresh Cilantro on lasts 2-3 days. Don’t use Dried Cilantro. It sucks.)
